The roots music of Mumbo Gumbo is a spicy blend of Gulf Coast musical influences: Zydeco, 2nd line R&B, Tex-Mex, Boogie-Woogie, and Latin / African. The musical melting -pot of styles that characterize this region are the basis for Mumbo Gumbo's festive sound. This seven piece band features red-hot vocals, accordion, washboard,swamp guitar, boogie piano, saxophones, and a rock-solid rhythm section.
